Mercy Raine LLC delivers full-mode freight brokerage — FTL, LTL, flatbed, van, and reefer — with compliance-first operations and carrier-focused execution for shippers who need capacity they can count on.
Flatbed, steel, and construction freight backed by VetGate-vetted carriers — built for shippers that need a partner, not a middleman.
VetGate is our own carrier and driver vetting system. We designed and operate it to confirm identity, screen capacity, and hold every dispatch to an auditable standard. It was built for high-trust and time-critical freight, including disaster-response movements.
Mercy Raine LLC is honored to be in partnership with — and in support of — SRTKA Enterprise Foundation Inc. and their Sunago Village.
SRTKA Enterprise Foundation Inc. — Start. Rising. Through. Keen. Alliances. — is a women-veteran-founded nonprofit established in 2025 with one mission: a future for displaced women veterans. SRTKA pairs safe housing with trauma-informed, veteran-centered support services and a clear path back to long-term independence — restoring mind, body, and spirit for those who served.
That mission takes shape at Sunago Village, a comprehensive support community in Etowah County, Alabama — 250 homes and 16 support facilities on 18 acres, where displaced women veterans can heal, rebuild, and gather strength for what comes next. Sunago comes from the Greek for “to gather together” — and that is exactly what the Village is built to do.
It is Mercy Raine’s hope and desire to one day create something similar of our own — a place where veterans, single parents, and those coming out of incarceration can find peace, gain valuable workplace skills, and receive treatment and housing at no cost to them. That has always been Mercy Raine’s end goal — and now we have the partners to model that process with.
End-to-end capacity for shippers that demand compliance, speed, and operational discipline.
All modes of transport — FTL, LTL, flatbed, van, reefer, sprinter vans, and box trucks — with steel, coil, and construction specialization. Vetted capacity, live tracking, and compliance management built in.
Committed, recurring capacity on the lanes you run every week — planned pricing, assigned carriers, and service you can build schedules around.
Time-critical loads moved with urgency and direct communication, for when standard transit is not fast enough.
Freight needs don't wait. Get vetted capacity, transparent pricing, and a team that treats compliance as a default — not an afterthought.
Request a quote →Carrier-first payment structure. Dedicated dispatch. Consistent lanes. Mercy Raine is built to keep qualified carriers loaded and paid on time.
Join the carrier network →Mercy Raine LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business built for serious commercial freight. We move every mode — FTL, LTL, flatbed, van, and reefer — across 48 states, with specialization in steel, coils, and construction materials, and every carrier passes VetGate, our own vetting system, before a load is tendered.
Compliance isn't a feature for us. It's a baseline. Carriers get paid. Shippers get delivery. Customers get a partner that reads the requirements before it signs.
Mercy Raine's leadership brings real-world military discipline, freight execution, and compliance experience to every load.
A U.S. Army veteran, John founded Mercy Raine LLC to bring the same discipline, accountability, and mission-first mindset he learned in service to the freight industry. His logistics experience began overseas as a combat medic, where he was cross-tasked into company logistics — moving people, equipment, and supplies under conditions where failure wasn't an option. He leads company strategy, carrier standards, and the SDVOSB mission that defines the brand.
The mission is personal. There was a time when John was homeless, stranded, and felt forgotten — so he knows firsthand what veterans and others in their hardest season are up against. When Mercy Raine reinvests in veterans, single parents, and people fighting their way back, it isn't charity from a distance. It's someone showing up who has been there.
John holds a BA in Business Administration with honors, an AA in Business Administration with high honors, and an AA in Accounting with honors, and is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Josh brings eight years of high-level logistics and logistics-management experience, built at Total Quality Logistics (TQL) and other national brokerages. A recognized subject-matter expert in freight operations and an innovator at heart, he is constantly refining how Mercy Raine sources capacity, moves freight, and serves the people on both ends of every load — and he consistently puts customers and the mission first.
Josh is the linchpin of Mercy Raine's carrier and shipper relationships, earning the kind of trust that keeps partners coming back lane after lane, and he is the company's standard-bearer for transportation compliance, holding every dispatch to the letter of the regulations. His dedication is unmatched and his skill set is yet to be rivaled. His partnership with the founder spans more than ten years of working side by side, and he is the operational counterweight that keeps the team balanced and executing.
